ABOUT HCFCCA

Welcome,

The Howard County Family Child Care Association is a non-profit organization

of Registered Child Care Providers and child care advocates dedicated to promoting quality child care and professionalism. We provide high-quality environments where infants, preschool, and school-age children thrive.

We endeavor to ensure that each member gains the education and training needed to be at their best, and to accomplish this we have trainings and events throughout the year aimed at bringing the latest information to the forefront of our community. We welcome all child care providers to come to our meetings and see what we are all about!

The Howard County Family Child Care Association offers a FREE PARENT MESSAGE BOARD for families looking for child care. Parents can leave a voice message or email with specific needs to then be connected to registered child care providers that not only have openings in the area of their choosing, but also offer the services that parents desire, such as transportation, preschool programs, and particular hours of operation.

Our Mission

Established in 1981, the mission of the HCFCCA is to foster professional, quality, registered childcare by providing education, support and outreach to providers, families and our local communities.
